The DriveVision standard

A licence makes you qualified.
The way you teach makes you exceptional.

DriveVision Academy is where that standard is built — through structure, observation, and the craft of teaching well.

Why Academy

Because teaching someone to drive is a responsibility.

  • Confidence.
  • Judgement.
  • Observation.
  • Communication.
  • Decision-making.
  • Independence.

Signature

A methodology.
Not a manual.

  1. Structure

Every lesson should have purpose, progression and measurable outcomes.

  2. Observation

Teach learners to understand what they see, not simply react to instructions.

  3. Decision-making

Build judgement and anticipation for the road ahead.

  4. Communication

Explain clearly. Listen actively. Adapt to the learner.

  5. Confidence

    Develop capability without creating dependency.

  6. Real-world driving

Prepare learners for driving beyond the test.

  7. Continuous development

    Instructors keep learning too.

Qualification
is the start.
Development
is the difference.

Curriculum

Built around the craft of teaching.

01

Teaching foundations

  • Lesson structure and learning objectives
  • Learner assessment and adapting instruction
  • Clear communication
02

Driver development

What you are actually teaching: seeing, deciding, driving for real life.

  • Observation and anticipation
  • Decision-making and hazard awareness
  • Independent thinking and real-world driving
03

Professional practice

The standards around the lesson — how it feels to be taught by you.

  • Learner experience and feedback
  • Punctuality and professionalism
  • Progress tracking
04

The DriveVision standard

Consistency across instructors, using the systems you already teach with.

  • DriveVision methodology
  • Lesson consistency
  • Using DriveVision systems where you already teach

These are curriculum outlines for professional development. They are not live assessed courses or certificates in this phase.

Built to scale with DriveVision.

Academy is designed to connect professional development with DriveVision’s existing instructor ecosystem — the same accounts, the same standard of teaching, without a second platform.

Questions

Everything you want to know before you begin.

What is DriveVision Academy?

A DriveVision professional development and methodology programme for instructors. It focuses on teaching method, learner development, communication, consistency and continued development. It is not a job vacancy page and not a statutory qualification.

Who is DriveVision Academy for?

New and experienced instructors, and existing DriveVision instructors. Future partner / licensing pathways are not open applications today.

Do I need to be a qualified driving instructor?

Academy is designed for people who teach, or intend to teach, professionally. It does not replace the legal route to becoming an ADI.

Can experienced instructors join?

Yes. Register interest. Existing DriveVision instructors can also open Academy from the instructor dashboard.

What does the Academy teach?

Curriculum outlines cover lesson structure, observation, decision-making, communication, learner experience, DriveVision systems, real-world driving and continuous development. Live assessed courses are not claimed in this phase.

Is DriveVision Academy an instructor qualification?

No. It is DriveVision professional development unless and until additional formal accreditation is established.

Will completing the Academy make me an ADI?

No. Academy does not replace DVSA requirements or grant instructor approval.

Is Academy certification available?

Not in this phase. We do not issue fake certificates.

Can Academy instructors use the DriveVision brand?

Existing DriveVision instructors already work inside the platform. Completing Academy outlines does not grant a brand licence.

Is DriveVision licensing currently available?

No. Licensing is a planned long-term direction, subject to programme development.

What happens after Academy training?

You continue teaching with a clearer method. Existing DriveVision instructors keep their diary, students and pay unchanged. Availability and any future paid elements depend on the specific service.
