Build confidence joining, leaving and travelling on faster roads.
The next chapter
Your licence opens the door to independence. DriveVision’s First Car Programme helps you navigate what comes next — from choosing your first car to building confidence on your own.
Designed for newly qualified DriveVision drivers
The part after the test
Your driving test proves you can meet the required standard. Real life asks different questions.
The DriveVision approach
The First Car Programme is designed to help you move from newly qualified driver to confident independent driver. It brings together first-car planning, practical guidance, post-test confidence, useful resources, optional additional training, selected DriveVision partner services where available, and continued DriveVision support.
The right first car depends on your actual circumstances — not a generic list. These are things to consider, not a recommendation to buy a particular vehicle.
DriveVision does not quote vehicle prices or give financial advice.
Optional extra hours use the existing Book flow. No new booking system — just more time where you need it.
Build confidence joining, leaving and travelling on faster roads.
Learn to handle new roads without relying on familiar landmarks.
Turn parking from something you avoid into something you understand.
Build experience when visibility and conditions change.
Prepare for driving further than your usual local routes.
Experience roads that may feel completely different from your test routes.
No instructor beside you. No one telling you where to turn. Just you, the road and the decisions in front of you.
That’s why the First Car Programme doesn’t end with a checklist.
Resources that already live in your DriveVision hub, plus extension points for what comes next. No fake downloads.

Your lessons may finish when you pass. Your relationship with DriveVision doesn’t have to.
Continue with additional driving hours, motorway confidence, parking practice, unfamiliar route training, and other post-test development — plus selected partner services where they are actually listed.
Partner services appear here when they are available. We do not invent offers or prices.
Nothing here is mandatory. Move at the pace that fits you.
Your First Car journey becomes available after qualification, or by office invite.
Explore the resources and guidance relevant to your next stage.
Choose additional practical support where you need it, through existing booking.
Use DriveVision as a continuing support platform — not a one-off goodbye.
Your First Car journey can become part of your existing DriveVision experience.
Optional guidance that helps newly qualified DriveVision drivers plan for a first car, build real-world confidence, and stay supported. It does not replace booking, payments, or lessons.
It opens when you pass your test, or if the office invites you. This public page is here whenever you want to understand what comes next.
The full hub usually opens after a pass. The office can also invite a learner. You do not need to have passed to read this page.
No. We never sell cars or quote prices.
No. We help you think through what matters for you. That is planning help, not a vehicle recommendation or financial advice.
Yes. Extra hours use the existing Book and Packages flows.
That is common. Book extra hours for motorways, parking, night driving, or unfamiliar routes — and use the First Car hub at your own pace.
The student hub is for DriveVision accounts. If you learned elsewhere, contact the office. Availability depends on how we can support you.
Availability and any paid elements depend on the specific service. Hub guidance is part of the DriveVision student experience. Extra hours use existing booking and packages.
